Dr. Rajiv K. Singh is a Senior Principal Scientist at the CSIR-National Physical Laboratory and an honorary professor at the Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR). His current research focuses on studying third- and fourth-generation solar cells, as well as their carrier dynamics. Dr. Singh earned his PhD from the Department of Chemistry at the University of Delhi, in collaboration with CSIR-NPL. His work primarily involves organic electronic materials and devices. He has published over 110 international research papers and holds two patents in the USA. In addition to his research, Dr. Singh works on plastic waste recycling and fabricating structures for social use; this technology has been successfully transferred to seven industries. He is also involved in developing Standard Reference Materials for Infrared Spectroscopy (FT-IR), which are being utilised by one company. Under his guidance, six researchers have completed their PhDs, and six more are currently pursuing their PhDs under his supervision. Dr. Singh was awarded the CSIR Raman Fellowship and has worked at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory in Golden, Colorado, USA. He is a life member of the Materials Research Society of India (MRSI).
